I have a table with a primary index to keep duplicate values from occuring. In a main form a command button sets a flag and open up another form in append mode to add a record to the table. If the user decides that this is not where he needs to be in the app, he presses the EXIT button which released the form. This appendes a blank record to the table. Now the next time the form is opened an error occurs stating the uniqueness is being violated. How can I unAppend the record when the EXIT button is pressed. I know how to mark for delete and pack but this is not possible due to the fact this app is on the network an many instancws are running.
