Mike,
Yours is an interesting interpretation which seems to be in direct opposition to what is stated in the VFP 5 Help under SYS(3054).
What is your source for this?
Regards,
Jim N.
>>I've observed the rushmore optimization status after issuing query 'INNERJ' form sample project 'QUERIES' from instalation CD. It's simplest sql select statement based on foreign-primary key principle.
>>
>>SYS (3054,11) states:
>>"Rushmore optimization level for table orders: none
>> Rushmore optimization level for table customer: none
>> Joining table customer and table orders using index tag Cust_id"
>>
>>Does it mean that such query is not optimizable?
>
>No it means that the query has completed and that the tables are not currently using Rushmore optimization. SQL uses Rushmore during its operation, you will only be able to check sys(3054) before and after the SQL, not during.
