ActiveX controls in VFP
>I also use xForm.AddObject to get the control on the form. When I had the zip control and unzip control on the same form, I kept running out of memory. I wanted to use the same form for compression and decompression, so I did it that way. That may have to do with why many people use the .DLL instead. I was still using vfp3 when I was working with it. Come to think of it, my version of DynaZip is 3.0, which may no longer be current.
I haven't had any problems with memory so far. I use the 4.00.02 version of the ActiveX's with VFP6/SP3. Maybe they have some problem with VFP3
