>Are you sure it's not a network/server problem? We have those fairly commonly, and it's not the fault of vfp, it's just coincidence that your in it at the time. Often waiting it out a few minutes will solve it, or an End Task at least may save data.

This problem occurs on my laptop and on ONE customer's computer. It has NEVER happened on my desktop test computer and I noticed that my test computer is on Win95 4.00.950C and the other computers (with the problem) are on Win95 4.00.950B. I am going to upgrade my laptop to the "C" version and see if the problem goes away. If not, I'm going to start comparing the network drivers.
