I don't believe there should be be a conflict. As I said, this is a new machine and I don't believe that any preloaded software would use an OCX (unless it was written in VB). I did check the registry to see if was possibly corrupted, but it doesn't appear to be. I appreciate the suggestion though, and will also look there. All the references seemed to be in the right places also.

The error is occuring after I click the button on the toobar and try to place it on the form.
