I am getting ready to release an update to an application done using VFP 5. This update requires several changes to tables and views. I have used GENDBC to generate a script for creating the DBC, TABLES and VIEWS necessary for the new application. I call this script in my update routine then open each table and append the records from a copy of the old tables.

This process works fine on my development machine. However on my test
machines it does not work. During the process that opens each new table and appends records from the old, I get an error that says "Object file c:\pbuilder\data\insteff.dbc was compiled in a previous version of FoxPro."

Again this does NOT happen on my development machine!

Does anybody know what is causing this?
