Well I created a class library called VIEWFORM, added a class called PREVIEW FORM using the class designer, and changed the properties to have it Maximized, Top-Level Form, etc. Finally, I got the REPORT FORM... IN WINDOW command to execute. Now what happens is this...:

Hi Rich,

I'm going to make a only couple of suggestions here because I think they're the most promising in helping to resolve this.

>1. have to right-click on my app's task bar button and select MAXIMIZE for the report preview window to appear.

Is the form's (in the class designer) WindowState 2?

>2. Although it DOES appear, it is BEHIND my app's window... which cannot be moved or minimized.

Is the app's window defined as AlwaysOnTop? In an MDI application you might want to use this. In an SDI (Top-Level Form) you really don't want to. It prevents or hinders the user from using other applications.

>3. the "Report Designer - my report.frx - page 1" window appears INSIDE the MS Visual FoxPro main window / desktop.

Is the forms
>4. closing the preview window ('report designer') still leaves the main VFP desktop on the screen.
