I have an edit window with a timer set up to do an autosave every 5 seconds.

the edit window is bound to a field in a dbf which is in the dataenvironment and I'm using the default data session.

What happens is; if the use presses ENTER, then the next time the autosave runs, it chops off the last one or two characters. Then, the cursor moves to the last _Saved_ character leaving one or two characters _Ahead_ of the cursor. The user continues typing, not realizing that one of words is now scrambled.

Any ideas?????
