>I have an application which prints a report from 2 tables. The first table has a document #, seller info and buyer info. The second table has a document # and info about the item(s). Obviously the link is 1 to many from table1 to table2 on the document #. When I preview the report it looks fine. However when I print it from the preview toolbar, I get all of the items in both tables not just the one I selected.
>For example: Table 1 doc# buyer seller
> 123 abc fred
> 234 bcd jim
> 345 cde bob

> Table 2 doc# item# qty
> 123 111 10
> 123 112 1
> 345 113 4
> 234 114 5
>If I preview doc# 123 report, I see 1 report with 2 items. (As I should.) If I print from the preview I get 3 reports 123, 234, and 345. I don't know why the print button causes all of these reports to print. Any help would be appreciated

The PRINT command button in preview will always print all. I put a page number in the report, note the page that I am viewing, and leave preview. Then print from the command window using the PROMPT option. The Windows' dialog will ask you for the pages to be printed. Dumb, but it works.
