I heavily suggest you go to www.hentzenwerke.com and look at purchasing a Visual Foxpro book or 2. I think you will find that Whil Hentzen's book on Application Development, that is scheduled to ship near the end of Dec., will help you with a lot of your question on how to develop a a robust application.
