Just a heads up, I took the Beta Exam 70-100 back in February. After taking the test I was informed that I would get the results in 8-12 weeks. I was told that this was the normal amount of time to get results from a beta exam.

It did take the whole 12 weeks and I passed. I assume if I hadn't have passed I would have been given a list of missed questions. Can anyone else confirm this?

I'm excited that the tests will be coming around soon and encourage everyone to bite the bullet and get tested.

Regards,

>>Well, first, yes, I'm going to take the beta exam. Actually, this isn't the point of my post.

>>It's occurred to me that this could be, "Put Up or Shut Up" time for the VFP community. I recall a while back when it looked like VFP might not be part of the core. I recall also the reaction to that possibility here. This is just a WAG (and maybe a paranoid one at that) on my part. However, the more people that take the beta, the less likely we are to receive any unpleasant surprises in the future. If the price is $50, that's really pretty cheap. Most of us will drop that on a book in an instant. If you take the beta and fail, then you already know the question for the real test and can direct your study there. If you pass, and it counts, you're that much more ahead.

>>Seems to me like a "no lose" proposition. And considering the possible consequences of not taking it, well...I'm sure you get my drift.
>>
>>So come on, folks. Let's really turn some heads, and show 'em how strong and committed this community is.

>I TOTALLY agree. Also, $50 is just a guess here, but is based on pricing for other exam betas.
