Title:
WWC talking to WWC on same PC?
Assistance please !!!
I am currently working on an order entry program which requires the ability to validate credit cards via the internet.
We are already working with a credit card service bureau that provides a site where we can enter the credit card number and have it validated immediately.
We've purchased WWC to do this and I've found it to be more than capable!
But, I still have a question...
We don't have access to a "test" site on the internet for use during development, so I created one using (what else?) WWC. This site takes a credit card number and returns a validation code, just like the *real* site will.
What I need to do now is have my order entry program call the *test* site just as it will call the *real* site in production.
The problem is, I don't know what web "address" to use in the call to HTTPConnect(). I've tried "localhost" and several others but I continually get timeout or bad url errors.
So the question is... what's the address I should you to connect to an intranet site on the same PC using HTTPConnect()?
I'm running NT4 with Peer Web Server.
TIA
