>I've got an app running in VFP 5.0. The logic is bound up in classes and the little bit of user interaction is via Forms that set properties and fire methods (Its an automation routine for a Data Warehouse). Everything works fine, but we now have an NT server and want to set it up as a service so the NT Server does the work rather than the workstation. I've looked at a few examples and understand the basics, but does anyone know of any other examples of deploying a class as an NT service?

From what I have read (never tried it) you don't want to do this. Basically, programs that run as a service need to bulletproof beyond what VFP and VB are capable of. YOu should look instead into DCOM.
