I just found that the computer where the command is not working has SET ANSI OFF, I change this setting back to ON and it's working. I also tried the NOFILTER claused and it's working now.

>It sounds like the NOFILTER clause is missing in the first instance. As I mentioned in my previous post, without NOFILTER, the table is being used again and filtered. The second instance sounds fine to me. Don't forget that the cursor file is temporary and will be destroyed when the cursor is closed. VFP automatically generates a random file name that has nothing to do with the alias and stores it in the location with the rest of its temporary files.
