Of course, it must be. You should redefine all columns and
their properties. I usually add a method to a form:
MakeGrid(), where I define all properties of the grid
(recordsource, columncount, columns and so on). And after
sql command I issue this method:

"sql select"
MyForm.MakeGrid()
