I've worked with customizing/interfacing to SBT, and it wasn't a pleasant experience. The system is basically a converted 2.x app, I was not impressed with it at all. There are classes, but the hierarchy is kludgy. Without having any knowledge of Visual Advance, I'd give it a hard look before considering SBT.
