I HAVE to work with SBT at our workplace. It is Ok for users and a nightmare for the developer.
I am currently installing the newest version to my test server and it is all prg files. The SOPOST, Sales order program is a wopping 18295 lines. I'm sorry but this is visual foxpro, and this comapny received an award for porting this app to VFP at Devcon 98.
I have heard that you only get partial Source in Visual Advance. That means you don't get the posting source, but you get source for forms and such. I have never worked withit so I don't know.
Learning curve on SBT? 6 months. Their developer training sucks. Not worth the $ or the time. You can get more from the SBTLOOP.com only if you are a reseller.
SBT says that the new ver 7 is going to be different but I don't believe a word they spew.
There are other Custom Source companies at Hollogram.com.
