Probably not. I know that there is nothing for free. Except that the previous governements have placed us in a bad situation with the deficit and we are the ones who pay the price. It is like if you had borrowed a lot of money to buy you goodies and go on vacations and you let your child pay the bills.

The present governements are not better, they are allways getting new reasons to get more money from us. Do you know that I cannot borrow books at the public library here in Laval without coughing 10$ annually/person on a "Advantage" card? Mulroney said that the price should change with the GST because an old tax was eliminated. I don't know for you, but for me it was a 15% increase for all things that I buy.

I have heard that the residents of Quebec are the ones who pay the most taxes in the world. I don't doubt it.

At least I can sleep at night thinking that it will cost me nothing to be hospitalized after a breakdown caused by money stress :)
