I read all the negative reviews. But SBT has been around a long time and yes sometimes it's tough to see past parts of the code. But the same is true about the other programs. And I believe others do not provide complete source code. So you will be stuck with doing it their way. I doubt you'll find any solution that matches your need perfectly. If you find that one of the program meets 80% of your need be very happy.
