>>>I have a VFP app that uses a BUILD't EXE to run. When I make a change to a form, I found out by accident, that I need to reBUILD the exe and not just copy the sct & scx to the runnable directory. Is that right? If I make changes to ANYTHING in a VFP app, do I need to reBUILD the exe also and/or copy the form, screen, prg files?

>>The answer is yes. Excluded files work differently but that just complicates the issue. For now, you'll have to rebuild for any change to a prg, form or class included in that project.

If you have included them in your project, you'll have to rebuild your exe. Usually, you'll want to exclude those reports. This makes it much easier to modify and send up report changes. This also gives the client an option, if they've got VFP on site, to modify the reports after you have initially designed the reports. The reports go through so many iterations, its easier if the client can just design to its satisfaction, but this is not always an option.
