Hi Cindy,

Thanks for your response.... well- I actually had a *more* severe problem since the original image was a very large hi-res .JPG file (over 900K vs. about 10K for the one I am currently using). THIS image really caused the print to choke... I have done some SET FILTERs to print a subset of the report; this did NOT cause the print to freeze. I could of course split the o/p to the 4 high-speed lasers we do have in this area (IIISi's or better! <s>), but we got this 8100 *specifically* for this large report... which is critical to my end users. I still am looking for some confirmation of whether w/s RAM is the answer....

...so what's a nice Jewish girl doing in a place like this?? lol.... (just guessing; I am myself!)
