Hi Eugene,

It's an ODBC limit. Anytime you have a command larger than 254 characters, it goes poo-poo. This is with SPT....remote views seem to (almost) always work OK. Split up your commands as well as you can.

>I am getting an unrecognized command/keyword error when trying to INSERT into a VFP ODBC data source where the length of one the strings is greater than 255. The VFP data source has a MEMO field so I assume that it is not a DBF problem. It appears to be a limit on VFP commands or more likely the ODBC driver itself.
