Frameworks are like cars, the one I like may be your worst choice. Frameworks influence everything you do and the ways you do it. The only effective way to find out if a framework is the right one for you is to use it to build an application. Most of the vendors rpovide a 30 day money back policy, so you really don't risk much by buying it.
In my opinion, the frameworks I am familiar with (VFE, Mere Mortals, Maxframe, Visual Extend, and Promatrix) are all usable and will improve the efficiency of your development. The selection of the
best one is a very subjective decision and the advice of others is of only a small benefit. First hand experience cannot be side stepped.
