After creating a simple, one-table form using form wizard, I noticed that it sets up a private data session.
Fine, but as we all know, private data sessions get their own set of environment variables set to default values. So (to avoid having to read through all that class code) can anyone tell me if the canned form from the wizard does the right thing...which is to preserve all of the ev values from datasession1 and only modify the ones it needs to do its work...?
If not, is there a good place in the initialization sequence of the canned form to insure that the private ds uses all of my environment variable settings ... or is this just playing with fire since I don't know what assumptions about the environment variables are built into the canned form?
