>Yes you do need to use an odbc connection but you really do not need to set up a dsn you can connect strait to your oracle database through ado.

ado? what is that? Also in odbc cntrl panel-add I have two oracle choices:
microsoft ODBC for Oracle & microsoft ODBC driver for Oracle .
choices,choices.....
