Hi Joseph.
My reason for displaying all 4 digits of the year is so that the user knows absolutely for sure that the date they entered was correctly interpreted by the computer. If only two 2 digits are displayed, they will not be sure. But I know we differ on this (from a previous thread).
>We use a 2-digit year in the YMD format.
>We use the YMD format because that is the way the company has always entered dates.
>We use 2 digits for the year because it is faster to enter.
>We use SET CENTURY TO ... ROLLOVER
>Maybe I am missing something, but I don't see a problem with this...is there something I am missing?
>>I am doing some y2k sniffing on a third party product and have come across several set century off commands? Why would someone use this command? I know their has to be a reason.
