Oh yeah, I did nothing but QB 4.5, C and Assembler for years. Got hired to do a project interfacing a QB app into an AS 400 at the same time another person got hired to write a large app in Fox. The manager, in his infinite wisdom, put me instead on the Fox app and the other developer on the QB app. It was comical, I was cursing FP (1.x then 2.0) at the time and constantly asking the other developer how to do things. Meanwhile, she would come to me for low level stuff and QB questions. I'm glad the manager didn't know what he was doing though, haven't regretted once I got in the groove of things. Variable scoping and no type casting drove me batty for a while.
