You may be on to something. When someone runs my form on another machine (running Windows95), there is no problem. Clearly, it's some kind of interaction with the world external to VFP.

Other forms I've developed from scratch do not have this problem. Just the one I put together by invoking the form wizard. This makes me think some property setting I don't normally fiddle with is the culprit. As if some property the canned form sets then interacts badly with the video driver (or some other aspect of the OS's video services).
