A few utilies to check out:
- file#9388 creates a script to recreate a table or view
- gendbc (in vfp98\tools\gendbc directory)
- apparently stonfield database toolkit does this too http://www.stonefield.com/

Doing a simple copy of a database can lead to broken links to tables etc. Usually not recommended unless you are coping all databases and tables and leaving them in the same relative directory.

>I need to update a client's site and add a view to their existing database. They are only using the VFP runtime. For tables, I created a utility program and call an ADD TABLE routine.. what do I do about views?
