Well, I admit this a littlebit subjective, but I cannot see where I definitely want to use them (thoug I used to program in C, and C++). On the other hand We definitely need to expand VFP on the UI side and some Client-server capabilities (see post of Jim N in thsi thread).

I defenitely agree we must try to improve VFP (in the manner of a wishlist), and of course everyone is free to submit a wish, But I *Really* doubt that static memvar can be of any constructive help to improve VFP.
It seems we have different standpoints on this, so I'll suggest to agree we disagree.
