Cindy,

Unfortunately, my tables aren't humongous (largest file 150,000 records) and it is highly unlikely that the company will grow big enough that Access will not be able to handle the job (10 users max). It's just different from what we now have and will require 10 years or so of my life to be flushed, which seems like a waste.

Everything I have to say on the subject sounds like special pleading (like I'm the only programmer with ego invested in his work) but the guys in ND who are pitching the switch to Access are totally selfless individuals. Sigh...

>>In my company the people in our Bismarck, ND, office are agitating to rewrite everything in Access. They claim that there are no Visual Foxpro programmers in Bismarck. Is this true? If you work in or around Bismarck I would like to get to know you.

>>It looks like I will not be with "my company" (it is of coures not my company at all!) much longer so it's important to line up some kind of future for the company.
