Are you talking about NSF 2.0 (soon to be going to NSF 3.0) or are you talking about ANSI format which will take over after 1/1/2000. The problem with any of these is that it usually takes more than 1 dbf to do this as each claim requires information that is usually not maintained in a single flat dbf table. We build software that does medical billing but the NSF files require many tables and the format for the table differs by region. Also, not all states accept Medicaid in the NSF format. Often times, the NSF formatted text file is sent on to a clearing house where it is translated into the format accepted by the state. In California, the UB92 format is recognized. What purpose is your test for? There is an active x control out there that requires linkage of each property in the control to your data in order to create an NSF record, but the setup process is very tedious.

>>Thanks, Mark. Both Medicare & Medicaid have to be sent with a specific file format that goes beyond 'sdf' and 'delimited'. I was just wondering if anyone has created a program that will export a .dbf file to the special formats that I need.
