You might want to check out "Where can I get more information on the Windows API". It's FAQ #7764. Click the purple book. Select Frequently Asked Questions, then Win32 and other APIs. It contains several references and a couple of URLs. How up-to-date the URLs are, I don't know. It's been over a year since I wrote it and it maybe time for an update.
