We guess David Bower's suggestion re the Windows 95 clients probably explains what is happening. Its also something we need to be wary of in the future.

However, we got the same situation on the NT Server with an application that has no user interface. But since we defragmmented the server and fixed up its virtual memory to a reasonable size the problem seems to have disappeared.

Is it possible that lack of virtual memory could cause such a problem?
