When you are adding in the file, before that check existense of
your primary field, by using a locate or a seek command.

if not found then add a new code other wise issue a tablerev, if
you have already issued a append blank.

if key field is numeric, you can use this line

sele max(keyfield)+1 from yourdbf into array yourarray
