Hi everyone !
I was setting the referential integrity for my database tables some of which had Cascade on Update. When I got to generate the triggers VFP gave me the following message " Cascade updates that are based on expression-based index keys may not behave as expected. The system has identified expression-based keys in the following relationship".
The index keys involved had the primary index built on a single field expression in the following format: "UPPER(Table's Primary Key)".
All tables keys involved in the relationship have the same structure as the parent.
What will be the impact of leaving the above expression "as is" when the update(cascade) trigger fires ?
TIA
Pierre Richard
