HP Printer? As you might already know, HP printer drivers are known to do this. SP3 fixed a lot of these bugs, but you have to redistribute the runtime, not just recompile and redistribute the exe. Use the setup wizard to create a new setup program that will put the SP3 runtime on the users' machines.
