> Why are you migrating to VB?
I'm not sure I really want to get into it on a Foxpro discussion board, but I'm a longtime Foxpro developer (since v1.16 or whatever it was) and we have been hiring some hybrid VFP/VB developers and frankly their front-end work is far better than anything I've seen in Foxpro. Personanlly, I've grown pretty tired of the problems with Foxpro and I think we're out of its area of strength now. For its core area of functionality its ok, but when you get outside of that you're really amongst a small group of other developers. Witness my insane and continuing problems with Winsock under VFP.
In any case, I'm not really interested in pushing one language or another, just thought it would be easier to get VB and VFP to work together, thats all. All the other members of the visual stdio play nice, but VFP seems to be a bit of a stinky cousin.
