You don't need to do anything with a container in the pageframe. The dynamic containers are an advanced option to allow large complex forms to load faster.
The part you are missing is that you need to right-click on the pageframe in the form designer, and select "Edit" to open the pageframe. Then you will be able to drop controls onto the individual pages just like anywhere else.
