Agreed, the 5 connection limit is a PITA for serious multi-user use. However, I'm interested in any engine that could support advanced reliability features like transaction logging. Admittedly, we don't see as many problems with VFP data corruption as we used to with earlier versions but there still seem to be vulnerabilities. Does MSDE support transaction logging or any other advanced reliability features? Also, being a true "back-end", it seems to me that MSDE might support the sort of true data security that VFP cannot.
