Hello,

Does anyone have any input on whether or not its a good idea to have the status bar on for an application. I was thinking I would like to have the status bar on to show a message once in awhile. But, I am using Visual Maxframe Professional and I noticed that they explicitly set the status bar off in their main calling program.

Are there any downsides to displaying the status bar?
