>We have a project that is well advanced. My client asked me to add the possibility to automatically repairs damaged tables. I know from previous posts that Stonefield Database Toolkit is a good choice for this task. What I need to know is how hard is it to integrate with our project? Do we have to modify our existing database, forms, class, etc. to incorporate the toolkit or it simply a new object that we can call from our app?
You don't have to use the full capbaillities of SDT to get the file repair utility. All the utility needs is a set of metadata for the database, because it uses the metadata to rebuild the table header from scratch. You don't even have to instanciate the oSDT object until you need to run the repair utility. So in brief: you should have no problem with this at all.
