Okay -- I understand you want a shortcut. I wasn't trying to 'flame' you, and I know you weren't proposing to 'force' everyone to use it, but I find that syntax particularly obnoxious and unreadable.
P.S. I'm not a fan of '!' vs 'NOT' either -- too easy to get misread when reviewing the code...
Guess I have my grumpy hat on today... Don't take it personally.
