You can get rid of the VFP desktop completely by SCREEN=OFF in your config.fpw file. BTW, all compiled VFP applications (EXE's with an interface), require a READ EVENTS.

I think that we're getting close here. The preview should work with these changes. Only thing that I can think of that might cause the calling form to be pulled on top of the preview window would be a timer that was activating it.
