>I dont know Jim, when I do a use of this view from the command window it will always show me an error (number 1523) when I press the cancel button instead of the OK button. This is the error that is processed by my error handling routine and logged to my table. So I dont think I can stop this error from coming up. At least I dont have the knowledge to at this point.

I just tested with an error handler that simply returns on error number 1586 and I opened a parm view and canceled and was dropped into the command window without any error message.
