Why not populate it off a parameterized view with a field list (rowsourcetype = 6), and requery the p-view when the parent's record pointer moves? You'll want to incorporate logic to set the form's lockscreen property, set the combo's rowsourcetype to 0 momentarily, requery the p-view with the new key value in place, reset the rowsourcetype to 6 (fields) and respecify the rowsource property before resetting the lockscreen value of the form.
