>How do you handle when someone is born in, say 09/03/99? Is that person a newborn baby, or someone that's 100 years old? That's the kind of stuff that leads to 105 year old people getting their Kindergarten class assignments in the mail.

Due to the nature of our business, we have never entered anyone that old. It is very rare to enter anyone over 70 years old. If that ever happened, the system would warn the user about the employee or spouse's young age (I don't think this would be an employee's child...).

It works for us. It might not work for others.

The bottom line here is that the users want it that way and it isn't a problem.
