Hello All,

Changes to the value of the current object do not update the control source when my custom save method is executed from the toolbar, menu or keyboard command.

The apparent solution is to replace the contents of the control source with the value of the active control. My problem is that I am unable to determine the active control, given that it may be on a form, a page on a page frame or in a nested container object.

Is there a way that I can readily determine a reference to the currently active object, regardless of where it is located?

Any help would be appreciated.
