Since you have a CD-RW drive, I would test this on your computer on a rewritable CD. You are trying to run something on a read-only media. So if whatever you are trying to run needs to write or create temporary files or a foxuser table, it can't. If you can monitor the activity of what you are running, look to see what files are being created on the rewritable CD.

I created a post-setup executable designed to run from a CD only. To make it work I included the 2 FOXUSER files in the same directory as the executable.
