As Dan says, unless you have a filter that moves the current record pointer out of scope. The pointer will move as soon as you refresh the cursor.

>If the record pointer is sitting at a particular record and you issue a SET ORDER command to change the tag used, does the record pointer move to where the record now sits or does it remain in the same location (which'll may point to a different record or even the EOF marker)?
